Grants
AVEF grants are meant to enhance and enrich the skills, knowledge, and creative abilities of the youth involved. Any community member - teacher, student, parent, mentor or community group - may submit a proposal for an AVEF grant.

​ As a general rule, AVEF grants are in the $100 - $750 range for individuals. If a grant involves many students or has a significant life experience we are able to consider additional funds. Grant applications are accepted throughout the year.

Proposals Should Include: ​​​

The objectives and goals.

A budget for the various components.

Number of students involved.

Qualified individual or individuals responsible for student oversight and implementation.

The name or organization that a check should be written to.

The address that a check should be mailed to.

The name and contact information for the person who will be responsible for sending pictures to the AVEF

Proposals Should Not: ​​​

Duplicate curricular work of the Anderson Valley Schools.

Be focused on recreation or sports activities.

As a note, proposals are reviewed at our board meetings, which usually take place on the second Wednesday of each month. Please make sure we receive them at least 24 hours in advance of these meetings.
